Nice fields. Red clay infield. Tight cut grass outfield. Says no metal cleats on the fields. Clay is hard to get out of uniform.

Yes a playground with an awesome merry- go- round and climber web of sturdy rope for older kids and separate lil tyke play area so the won't get trampled by the bigger kids. Maintained and fun features. CLEAN Absolutely dog friendly with ample room walk and even a cool water flood reservoir that dogs can run unleashed for ball throwing or exploring. Also good mile walk around top of reservoir. 2 picnic areas with cabana top. Very CLEAN. Water and AED device.

Majestic Softball Fields (Lower Fields): Because of it’s placement in a flood control basin, the lower segment of the ball park is the ‘basic’ park compared to the upper level. There is shade at each field and a ‘cabana’ with picnic tables near the center of the fields. The park is well landscaping is pleasant for a desert climate. The LED night lights do a nice job lighting up the fields and fan areas. There is a playground, restrooms, and a sink on the Cheyenne Street side of the lower park. Downside of the ‘lower fields’: 1) Be prepared to go down about a 5 story hill (and return the same) either by steps or service road. 2) Be careful for dog ‘bombs’. Those who visit the park are not very good at cleaning up after their puppies. 3) Parking is terrible for large tournaments. There is a small parking lot across Cheyenne and a larger lot at the top of the ‘hill’. IF the school is open across the street from the park, you can park there. Just be aware, there are gates to close this lot. 4) Drivers do like to fly down Cheyenne, so be careful crossing the street. There is a crosswalk with flashing lights that I recommend using, especially at night.
