  Not too bad of a spot. Ton of softball/baseball fields, and plenty of parking. Soccer fields aren’t great, but not he worst I’ve seen, and are pretty even. Gravel roads and parking, and flood lit fields.

  Fields well kept. Ample parking, gravel though. Not the best for handicap patrons. If you park in the upper lot for lower fields there is a huge hill with steps and inaccessible for handicap visitors from those lots. You would have to drive around to a lower lot to access those fields. Then still just gravel around back stops. Not sure about further into the complex but only porta jons available for our fields. A few shade canopies available over bleachers. Overall a decent complex. A newly built park is across the street with just a short walk.

  My grandchildren have participated in Mint Hill Athletic Association programs for at least 5 yrs., specifically soccer & softball. They have learned so much about the sports. Their skills have improved greatly. They also have learned teamwork, cooperation, and good sportsmanship, as well as it’s helped them stay physically fit and well-rounded. The program has been well-organized, & parents are encouraged to help out. As a classroom teacher in the Mint Hill area, I have known students who went in to receive scholarships to universities. I feel this program is a real plus to Mint Hill.

  Played 1 season baseball and had an experience.Started to give them another chance but had issues before the season could even start. The first year we Expressed some minor concerns via email to the president and got slammed by him like we were some sort of trash. One of the items was the field was not prepped for game. His comment was “well the other field wasn’t being used so it is your fault for not using the other field. They also are short on coaches so they do not care who coaches. One of the coaches yelled the entire game, argued with ump in front of his players and had Parents so upset. Poor sportsmanship in front of kids. AND they let him come back this year for another season. I’m surprised little league has not got involved because of the issues that has came about now. They are too long to list. Stay away from this place. May would be ok if President (C. Lerch) was not there. Very rude man that should not be around kids.
