This place has a large field for football /soccer a baseball field I think 2basketball courts, a hockey rink and a recently remodeled playground that has a slide that should be at a theme park. and that's not all in the winter time when it snows this is a great place to take your family sledding . It's open to the public and it's Free. There is also a few restaurants walking distance from the park. Checkmate cafe has great pizza which is right next to the park

In terms of ball fields, it's great - beautifully shaded with a cool main stadium with decent seating on one side. As a park, it's a wonderful walkthrough connecting a couple neighborhoods and offers a close connection to Stony Brook Reservation for people who hike our don't mind a small walk - but give yourself time if you go the route and have water. ***Please keep the park clean - there are trash cans

This place is sacred to me. Great mix of bleachers,stairs, hills,and cross country for running. I have logged hundreds of miles there. But the people who hang out there can't clean up after themselves and leave trash everywhere except in the trash cans... animals.

Very quiet and serene. It was clean. I'd like to eventually walk the whole park though. And I seen the cutest rabbit just hopping around. See you again soon Lola.💙🍃👀
