Nice neighborhood park, with a large field, three baseball diamonds, a basketball court, water fountains & trash cans, a community garden, and a great playground in the back. Flaherty Pool, a city-owned indoor pool, is adjacent to the playground and shares the parking lot with the rest of the park.

This review is for the playground. There are also basketball courts as well as a baseball field that you can jog around. No public bathroom. The playground itself is small and enclosed and has some nice climbing structures. Unfortunately, it usually has lots of litter and I am often picking up pieces of glass while there so that my kids don't grab it or step on it. The climbing structure is fun and the slide is a good size for toddlers. There are no swings and the carousel is fun when it's working but often gets stuck. There is also a water feature in the summer which is fun, again, if it's actually working at the time. I have entered many 311 requests for various issues I discovered at this playground. It's not my favorite, but it is the closest so we go here alot. There are also lots of people riding dirt bikes in this area, which creates a noisy and smelly environment around the playground. Be careful in the parking lot because the dirt bikes can come out of nowhere. I get that the riders are gonna do what they are gonna do, I just wish the city would make them a designated dirt bike area so that they could go ride somewhere else instead of terrorizing neighborhood streets. It's also a pain to cross the street to the playground as cars and bikes fly down this street as if people don't live here and sometimes can't even be bothered to stop at the crosswalk. Truly scary, especially when you have small kids with you.

I grew up right next to this place they have 3 baseball fields a basketball court, a huge indoor pool that goes up to 10 feet and a nice playground for kids. There is also a corner store for refreshments and several restaurants to choose from that is walking distance from the field.i always enjoyed watching little legues and minor leagues play . Although the parking lot is small, there's always plenty of off street parking
