  I appreciate the larger fields for 12u Majors games. Thankfully, there are no cheap 205 foot home runs here, and no games with 9 or 10 home runs. The concession stand serves very good food. We've played three tournaments there and all three times my boy's teammates and parents mentioned how good the food was. Very nice park in which to watch a tournament. Also whoever built those benches did a great job!

  The fields are in terrible condition. Outfield is like running on moguls. Place is really run down. Apparently the county doesn't give a damn about this parks condition. It's a shame because Sarasota has so much baseball and softball history. I guess the elected officials are not interested in having a great park to enjoy playing softball.

  Not sure why we can't go play there, there's a sign with park hours and no one using the field but we can't go there to hit a few balls.. lame-o, Amigo
