  We always enjoy coming here. Multiple baseball fields that we’ve used to play catch on (as they are often unoccupied, especially in the evenings), and a track to walk around with beautiful mountain views in the distance. Really pretty sunsets here, too. It’s often quiet and peaceful here - one of our favorite spots in the area.

  This is a very nice area with a beautiful back drop of the snow capped mountains, though unbelievably hot on this day. I believe my sons' team played on park 3. There were some places to take cover by trees from the hot sun. The girl announcing and the National Anthom signer was great. Several varieties of foods offered in the concessions. The team that our sons played against were very nice players along with the umpires. Its was hot, but the park staff made sure that water was always available, which meant alot! Thank you Thornton!

  Awesome Plyground for sure. Unfortunately the Restrooms are locked nearly all of the time, except perhaps during busy competitions. Please note that the Walking Track highlighted in another review is actually behind Rocky Top Middle School to the North of the Ball Fields, but the parking lot would be the same for both.
