I really love the weird statues in this park. Also a great place to watch trains. The correct name for the park is "Tahoe Tallac Park" but for many people it will always be called little league park. One of the most notable things about this park is it has three bade ball diamonds. There is a lot of little league that goes on here. But in the off times the park is pretty much empty and forgotten and a very quiet place punctuated with passing trains. I often see people take there dogs there to chase frisbees of leash.

Just want to post this review as a response to the recent 1 star review of Tahoe tallac… my daughter is also on said team of said coach and my experience couldn’t be more different. Let’s not forget the fact that these are 8-9 year old girls and almost half of our team are first year players.. let’s also not forget the fact that nobody is getting paid, they are volunteering their own time to coach so these kids can even have a chance to play in the first place . And you say there is no foundational skills being taught, if you actually attended any of the practices you would see that what is being practiced is quite literally the foundations of softball:Throwing, Catching, hitting, fielding , and base running. You must be expecting skilled position training and these girls are still just needing to learn the basics of the game so maybe go pay somebody to get the training your looking for and not leave unnecessary reviews to throw passive aggressive shade at a volunteer coach. Or better yet sign up to coach the team and let’s see how well you do. And to think that any coach out there is intentionally sabotaging “players with actual skills” is just delusional..

Whoever this coach is has these poor poor kids on that field looking confused and clueless it's really sad that they would put a coach like that in charge. Foundational skills training? I don't even think these kids are trained to have a winning mindset they are trying to figure out which way to go on the field because the base coaches are clearly trying to confuse the kids or make sure the kids WITH ACTUAL SKILLS don't get credit for carrying the team. Don't pay for or volunteer to put your kid in this team unless you want to have them professionally trained on how to successfully lose every game! Poor kids! Must be a lot of ego and pride operating behind the scenes where it's obvious that a few of the players get the attention, not necessarily proper training, but attention, and the team as a whole suffers from arrogance and ego and control issues of those who think that their kids going to make MVP if they just make the other ones look incompetent, so sad really. TRAIN THE *TEAM* COACH A *TEAM* WIN AS A *TEAM*, maybe morale will boost and they'll actually win a damn game!! Because trying to hold other players back just to make your kids look like they deserve the spotlight is far from coach material is far from any kind of sportsmanship material I don't know how you guys are even still a team. Actually it's obvious that you guys are not I don't know how you guys are still a league is what I meant.

It's Funny how many ppl can complain about the volunteers. No one is above any one. No one can complain about a volunteer coach if u can't volunteer to coach. If ur going to talk down about someone who stepped up and willing to coach a team ur the problem. if u can't help out and volunteer dont come on here and tlk down about a volunteer who is taking their time out to coach kids they dont know. So if u can do better then do it. Other than that they do their best and can only do so much training with the time given.
