  I played at Pacific Little League over 55 years ago. It was one of the nicest fields and parks back then. Dooley lived in a house that backed up to the park. As I recall he had a gate in his back fence that he would use to access the fields. He was almost always watering or mowing when we would arrive for games. As a kid you don't realize at the time what a special place this was. Snow cones from the snack shack were fantastic after a game on a hot summer evening.

  Great field great atmosphere for the children enjoyed umpiring the All-Star district 7 game today between East Sacramento and Parkway
