Played here as a kid and my daughter has been playing here for the past 6 years. Every year I hope it will get better but unfortunately it isn’t. This will be our final season at GBA. I’m upset that I spent as much as I did for the experience we are getting. Coaches that don’t coach. Unorganized. Not even enough girls on a team.

The first 5 years of my granddaughter playing out at GBA were very good. This year they placed her back down on age group with children who are beginers, other than the coaches daughter who is her age but gets to play on the older team and the younger team. The coaches would rather sit on there buts than coach the kids. The soccer field is on better shape than the baseball fields. E-mails have been sent yo the board with no response. This will be the last year my grandpughter plays at GBA.

Played here as a kid and now I'm coaching my kids. They have new people running the place that actually care about the kids and the fields and they have come a long way in a short time. It's non profit so volunteers and contributions are always welcome. It's all for the kids so it's worth the time spent.

⸻ I had a very disappointing experience with this league and, unfortunately, would not recommend it at this time. The fields were in poor condition, showing little to no maintenance, and it was clear that the league struggled with organization—many teams lacked enough players, and they had difficulty securing coaches. While I genuinely wanted to volunteer as a coach, my school schedule didn’t allow it. I truly appreciate my daughter’s coach for stepping up, but I was very concerned about the team placements. My 6th grader was placed on a team with high school freshmen, which I felt was neither age-appropriate nor safe. Because of this, I made the difficult decision to withdraw her from the league, though I did keep my other two children enrolled. Fundraising was also frustrating, as it seemed there was minimal effort from the league to support the basics, like field upkeep, making it difficult to stay motivated as a parent volunteer.
