Super fun place to watch the Mariners and Padres. However unlike many other spring training stadiums the sun cover is very limited so make sure you wear sun screen and don't plan on any sun shade. The video screen is huge. Not the best spring training stadium but it's still an enjoyable place to watch a game.

Peoria Sports Complex is about as close as you can get to baseball without putting on spikes. If you’re coming for spring training—especially with kids—this place absolutely nails the experience. Accessibility is the headline here. During spring training you’re not just watching games; you’re inside the daily rhythm of the team. You can walk the complex and find yourself shoulder-to-shoulder with players heading to workouts, standing a few feet away during drills on the back fields, or watching batting practice up close. It’s one of the few places where baseball still feels open and personal. The back fields are a hidden gem. If you have kids (or are still a kid yourself), this is where the magic happens—home run balls flying, players interacting, coaches working through reps. It’s casual, unscripted, and honestly more fun than sitting in a seat the whole time. For games, the berm seating is a must at least once. Bring a blanket, grab some sun, and settle in. It’s relaxed, social, and perfect for families who don’t want to be locked into assigned seats for nine innings. If you prefer traditional seating, the sightlines are excellent and the stadium never feels overwhelming or crowded. Logistics matter, and Peoria gets those right: • Parking is easy and close, especially compared to larger MLB parks • Wide concourses make it stroller- and kid-friendly • Clean facilities throughout the complex • Plenty of space to move around without feeling boxed in Food options are solid for a spring training venue, and the overall vibe is relaxed—no rush, no pressure, just baseball in the sun. Having both the San Diego Padres and Seattle Mariners based here makes it even better. You can catch practices, split-squad days, and games all in one place, and the energy around the complex feels constant during the spring. Bottom line: this is how spring training should feel—approachable, family-friendly, and genuinely fun. Whether you’re a hardcore baseball fan or just looking for a great day outdoors with kids, Peoria Sports Complex delivers every single time.

Excellent park for a spring training game! Many draft beer choices, Margherita and Daiquiri stands and other options. Many food choices, from classic ballpark to Greek to Noodles. Take sunscreen as most seats are in the son during afternoon games. Parking is free with easy in and out flow of cars.

Home game for Seattle spring training game, was against Arizona Diamondbacks. Half the crowd was on either side. Nice facility and pleasant weather. I found free convenient parking.
