Very nice and clean park. Good grass and dirt. Nice staff too! And the view of the mountains behind the field can’t be beat

The only thing a great park needs is better restrooms.

My cross country team races there, and that is horrible because there are a lot of hills. But, as a park it is wonderful. There are many beautiful trees and nice green grass. They also provide bathrooms, and the area is usually free from trash or dog poop. There is also a large, amazing pavilion right by a pretty cove of trees. Plus, there is a great playground. I would recommend going here for fun park activities.

The park itself itself is quite wonderful. I used to play here when I was super young in travel ball tournaments so it’s been a lot of fun to see how well they did with the remodel. I haven’t had an issue here until this year. I have played softball since I can remember. Played at every level other than professionally, including getting a full ride for D1. I fill in for a mens league on the regular when they don’t have enough players. Having said that, I showed up at the beginning of the season to watch the team play their first game and coach 3rd base for them since they had a full team that night. I attempted to go sign the roster that night as it was the first game of the season and a dark haired lady told me everyone was gone so I’d have to wait until next week which seemed strange since the team I was on hadn’t even started their game yet but I told her that was fine. The team continued to tell me to go and ask the person who was scoring the current game which I did at the end of the game. It was a slightly older blonde lady and she insulted me and questioned me multiple times saying I “need to know how to play” to be on the roster. Even if I didn’t know how to play, which I do and have, I am able to be on the roster and can play if that is the choice of the team. She continued to question me even though my name was on the teams roster that I told her about over and over and finally I had to physically show her where my name was on the roster and finally got to sign it. I proceeded to tell her how offensive it was and walked out of the score tower only to run into the umpire. He felt the need to tell me post game that he shouldn’t have let me coach 3rd base or be on the field AT ALL since I’m “not on the roster”. Again… am absolutely on the roster and have played in multiple men’s leagues including at this park. Whoever is running this organization, please explain to your staff that there are absolutely a very large amount of girls who can play with the boys and are even better than a lot in this league. Extremely insulting. They were proven otherwise and I hope they feel stupid because a girl did better than majority of the guys and they questioned someone of their own gender when they wouldn’t want the same treatment. This park and league will absolutely be a last resort for leagues moving forward for me as well as the men’s/co-ed leagues that play with me moving forward.
