How many innings does Little League play?
Little League Majors and Minors play 6 innings. T-Ball and Minor Machine Pitch play 4 or 5. Our 7-inning baseball scorecard has columns for 7 innings — use the first 6 for Little League Majors and Minors; ignore the 7th.
Does the Little League scorecard need a pitch count column?
Yes. Little League has strict pitch count rules by age (e.g., 75 pitches max for ages 11-12). Track pitch count as you go — the umpire will ask at the end of each half-inning. Pair the scorecard with our dedicated pitch count tracker for the clearest record.
What are the Little League pitch count limits?
Ages 7-8: 50 pitches. Ages 9-10: 75. Ages 11-12: 85. Ages 13-14: 95. Ages 15-16: 95. Rest days depend on count: 1-20 pitches = 0 days, 21-35 = 1 day, 36-50 = 2 days, 51-65 = 3 days, 66+ = 4 days. Log this on the pitch tracker companion sheet.
Do I need to submit the scorecard to the umpire in Little League?
The umpire asks for the lineup card at the pre-game plate meeting (a separate document from the scorecard). The scorecard stays with the official scorer — often a parent or assistant coach. Most leagues keep the official scorebook for season stats.
What is the Little League continuous batting order?
Most Little League Majors and Minors use a continuous batting order — every rostered player bats, not just 9. Our 7-inning scorecard has 9 batting rows plus substitute rows; for continuous lineup of 12-15 players, use our youth fielding rotation card alongside.
Does the Little League scorecard work for All-Stars or tournament play?
Yes. Little League All-Star and tournament play use the same scoring rules. The only difference is the level of documentation — some tournaments require official scorebooks. The printable scorecard works for pool play and bracket games; check with the tournament director for scorebook requirements at championship levels.
