  What qualities did we want for our '23 son, Tyler, when searching for the right baseball academy? 1. Quality coaches with the expertise AND desire to teach, 2. An environment that fosters teamwork, 3. Genuinely care enough about the players to provide real-life lessons that put them on the path to be good young men, 4. Knowledgeable about the college recruiting process and willing to do what was necessary to help Tyler reach his goals. Well, On Deck Academy checked all those boxes for us. Even after On Deck, during Tyler's first semester in college, he felt his swing was a little off. Coach Kevin Hill never hesitated when Tyler asked if he would work with him over fall break for several days to tweak and get it back on track. Most recently, Tyler's team opened their pre-season in Charlotte. Coaches Kevin Hill and Lamar Briggs were there with their full support. We thank all the coaches and staff at On Deck for everything they did and continue to do during this critical period of Tyler's life.

The facilities, technology, resources, and programs provide every athlete the greatest opportunity for individual and team success. Direct and constructive feedback is constant with transparency and honesty prioritized, helping guide and assist families with on and off field expectations.
