Instructions
Stage 1: Dynamic Arm Warmup - Arm circles and cross-body swings, light and controlled. Stage 2: Close Distance (20-30 feet) - Establish proper grip, high elbow, and step to target. 10 throws minimum at this distance. Stage 3: First Progression (40 feet) - Same mechanics, slightly more effort. Watch for form maintenance. Stage 4: Second Progression (50-60 feet) - Add emphasis on hip and shoulder rotation. Stage 5: Third Progression (60-90 feet) - Appropriate for older youth, maintain all mechanical points. Stage 6: Accuracy Work - At comfortable distance, throw to specific targets. Stage 7: Cool Down - Return to moderate distance with easy throws. Total throwing time should not exceed 15-20 minutes for youth arms.
