Fielding Drill: Around the Horn (Baseball & Softball)
Great indicator drill of team improvement over the season. Timed drill where ball goes from pitcher to catcher, then to third, second, first, and back to catcher with pattern reversing.
Instructions
Use two teams of six players. Pitcher throws to catcher. When catcher touches ball, clock starts. Ball goes to third, second, first, then back to catcher. Pattern reverses with shortstop covering second. Time the drill and track improvement.
